  • We believe incredible talent lives everywhere, not just in major city centers. BPM is designed to rewrite the script by delivering high-caliber industry training, masterclass education, and top-tier professionals directly to Canada's local communities.

    • The Challenge: Learn a 1-minute routine sent out 2 weeks before the event and perform it live on stage.

    • The Freestyle: Step into the spotlight and freestyle live for immediate feedback from industry specialists.

    • The Purpose: This is a real-world industry training tool. Everyone learns the exact same choreography—how you stand out is entirely up to you.

    💡 Bonus Eligibility: All dancers 9 years and older in this category automatically qualify for The Last Beat Standing.

  • The ultimate crown of the BPM Experience. Reserved strictly for our Artistry Over Everything soloists, this title recognizes the dancer who completely commands the stage. After tracking performances throughout the category, our judges will select the definitive standout—leaving just one performer holding the title of The Last Beat Standing.

  • While we absolutely love the energy and support parents bring, our workshop rooms are completely closed to spectators. Dancers take bigger risks, find their true confidence, and are much freer to experiment and grow when they can focus entirely on the instructors and their craft without the pressure of an audience.

  • BPM is the brainchild of three powerhouse women united by a single mission: to redefine the dance industry through high-velocity education and epic celebration. They didn't just want to start another event; they wanted to set a whole new tempo.

  • There is a small fee to watch. While we’d love to offer free admission, we do need to make sure our rental costs are covered!

  • There are no designated studio assignments—our changerooms and rehearsal zones are fully shared community spaces! To keep the energy high and the backstage running smoothly, we ask that all studios rehearse in performance order where possible, stay courteous, and share the space. We’re all on the same wavelength here!

    We love connecting our dancers with the industry! The BPM experience is built on direct access, giving dancers the incredible opportunity to learn from our industry professionals.

    Note to our amazing parents and teachers: While we value community, please refrain from communicating with the judges during active adjudicating hours so they can fully focus on giving your dancers the best possible feedback.

  • The ultimate showdown. The Final Drop is our high-octane closing event where the top 16 highest-scoring groups and judges choice of the entire weekend go head-to-head on the main stage to battle it out for the ultimate title of BPM’s Final Drop Champion. You do not want to miss this beat!
